Produced when Max was in his early teens, these cartoons are about a main character called Den who fights monsters. This series of books is missing the very first which, unfortunately, has gone astray. Thanks go to John Barry (who is in the process of photographing all Max’s work) for his arduous and loving restoration of these faded childhood drawing books.
