Holly 2962 is an early sketch drawn at Max’s home. Often Max put pencil to paper to capture items in the home. The bunch of Holly was on the fireplace of his lounge near to Christmas.

As well as being a wonderful cartoonist, Max was fairly serious about landscapes, abstract and all other forms of creative artwork and worked in all medias. Some of his work is a little on the dark side. The cartoons demonstrated the opposite lighthearted side of Max and all is here to see.
