East Coast Landscape is a pencil sketch by Max whist on a short holiday with his wife Maggie in Northumberland.

As well as being a wonderful cartoonist, Max was fairly serious about landscapes, abstract and all other forms of creative artwork and worked in all medias. Some of his work is a little on the dark side. The cartoons demonstrated the opposite lighthearted side of Max and all is here to see.
